Baluuds are Zen like and in tune with nature. Os'Baluud teaches her children to have respect for all living things, especially the forest that Baluuds live in and the animals they share it with. Baluuds produce some of the finest herbs and medicines found on Abantey. They are pacifists and will seek to resolve problems without resorting to violence or conflict. The exception to this are the Baluud hunters. They are a special class of Baluud who are charged with protecting the forests and other Baluuds. They are extremely wild and dangerous, and are regarded with a mixture of awe and fear by the other Baluuds. Rogue Baluuds possess the same wisdom and intelligence as Marked Baluuds, but, for the most part, have shunned the tenets of non-violence and living in harmony with nature. Many Rogue Baluuds will not hesitate to use weapons or offensive magic to defend themselves, or even to attack others.
